Shrnutí:The University of Boyacá, within the framework of the project "Strengthening Quinoa Cultivation thru Knowledge of Genetic Diversity, Crop Health, and Safety of Agro-foods Derived from Its Production," has responded to this initiative to highlight the social and economic potential of quinoa. On this occasion, as a continuation of the guiding pamphlet "Phytosanitary Management of Quinoa Cultivation (Chenopodium quinoa W)." Identification of diseases present in the department of Boyacá,” we present to the reader a second installment aimed at highlighting the nutritional content of quinoa. The University of Boyacá, in collaboration with the research groups Giprocas, Water Resource Management, and Environmental Management, has joined the initiatives of the Boyacá Government to promote innovative projects and address regional environmental issues, particularly in water resource management. In this context, the project titled "Resilience and Management of Strategic Socio-Ecological Systems for Agricultural Activity in Climate Variability Scenarios: Case Study of Lake Sochagota, Boyacá, Colombia" was developed. The general objective of the project was "To develop a management tool that strengthens the resilience of the socio-ecological system associated with Lake Sochagota, the thermomineral resource of the municipality of Paipa, and the regional agricultural dynamics under scenarios of climate variability," seeking an appropriate balance between environmental conditions and human activities in the project's area of influence. To achieve the general objective, three specific objectives were defined, one of which was "Develop a technological solution that integrates socio-ecological variables for the social appropriation of knowledge in the management of water resources with a regional and prospective approach," which allowed for the implementation of a solution based on information and communication technologies. This book addresses the development of this objective thru the SCRUM methodology, which allowed for the orderly, efficient, and effective structuring of the work to build the technological tool, making optimal management of human, technical, and time resources, among others, possible; thus, meeting the requirements of the various stakeholders involved in the process. This project, endorsed by government authorities, represents a significant effort to address environmental challenges in the region and contribute to sustainable development.
