Ihr Buch leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Sozialraumdiskurs der Sozialen Arbeit im Kontext solidarischer Hilfebeziehungen sowie des Alter(n)s.; In order to support elderly in their everyday lives, volunteers are deployed as part of socio-spatially organised assistance. But how are these support relationships organised? What role do biographical experiences, situational dynamics and interactive negotiation processes play? Marlene Jänsch conducted interviews with those seeking and offering help to find out how they successfully organise solidary help. Her book makes an important contribution to the social space discourse of social work in the context of solidary helping relationships and ageing.
