This alone, however, is not enough; knowledge about this issue needs to be disseminated. This is the purpose of this Special Issue, “Groundwater Pollution: Sources, Mechanisms, and Prevention”. This Reprint presents synchronous and innovative methods and techniques developed worldwide in the field of groundwater pollution. Eleven papers were published focusing on monitoring, remote sensing, simulation and optimization, human health risk assessment, climate change impact, and remediation. The contribution of the published manuscripts is not limited to their results but extends to proposals for further research and future improvements. |
