Child consumerism causes various problems in childhood (anxiety, family stress, created needs and repressed desires, obesity, early sexualization, etc.). Considering that the formation of social knowledge begins in childhood, the kindergarten plays a fundamental role in promoting reflection on consumerism that negatively affects children. Knowing the views of teachers, the school environment and children's beliefs about child consumerism can provide important elements for reflection by parents, teachers, researchers and those interested in this topic.
